Peaca Int./Theater Mission Gears

There is a set of weapons noted for being very rare and powerful that only drop from Ghouls and the Master Lich in Peaca Int as well as Theater Missions. I felt that these weapons deserve their own section in the guide due to their power as well as the fact that they would hardly be considered beginner gears for starting out with. Note that they all require Marketplace Modification Coupons to reach their full potential unless you are banking on a max rolled Artisan upgrade.

Francisca

Unlike the other weapons on the list, this one can get away with doing an artisan upgrade instead of the Emporium Modification and actually come out on top. Being able to reach nearly 100 max damage from just the normal+gem upgrade, this is one of, if not the strongest 1-handed weapon for a weapon+shield style for elves and humans while also retaining a great critical rate. As a bonus, this weapon has durability usually seen only on two-handed weapons.

Falcata

Falcatas are basically 222 Broadswords that actually carry min damage, which allows for greater average damage over time. This weapon can actually get a double Emporium upgrade, which also stands out because it boosts max durability along with damage. Using one Emporium upgrade makes the durability loss almost irrelevant, while doing a double Emporium upgrade actually gives you more durability than you started with, which is extremely unusual. The difference in damage is mostly nonexistent, which path you do is up to you.

Highlander Claymore

Highlander Claymores feature a very nice balance between power and critical, meaning you won’t have to pick between one or the other, like choosing between a Dragon Fang or Glory Sword. A max rolled Artisan on this weapon can match the Emporium upgrade, making it a personal preference between gambling for a good Artisan or working for an modification coupon. In either case, the difference in stats is mostly irrelevant. This sword has surprisingly forgiving repair fees, only costing 4.4k per point at Edern.

Highlander Long Bow

This bow features high damage, high range, and very respectable critical rating while maintaining a good amount of durability. Also it’s worth noting that it has normal weapon speed, meaning you get the faster firing speed and lesser stun. There’s no going wrong with this bow, and after enchants and special upgrades can be extremely deadly.

Targe Shield

This shield gets the strongest auto-defense upgrades, getting 2 upgrade slots that can add 7% auto-defense each, while the gem upgrade can add 3% more to melee for a whopping 17% melee auto-defense and 14% for the other two. While shields aren’t something that most people replace often, this one is definitely worth using if you manage to get one.
